Is chocolate healthy?
As with all delicious treats, chocolate is best enjoyed in moderation and as part of a healthy, balanced diet due to its high energy content. However, recent studies suggest it may have some unexpected health benefits.
As science has progressed, the health benefits of chocolate have remained a hot topic. Some believe chocolate can reduce heart disease because it contains antioxidants, while others believe flavonols in the chocolate can help lower blood pressure.
The cocoa butter used in quality chocolate behaves like a monounsaturated fat (similar to olive oil) and is therefore believed to make this type of chocolate healthier. Dark chocolate contains more cocoa butter than milk chocolate.
Some believe that one of the most interesting benefits of chocolate is that it’s an aphrodisiac! In fact the Aztecs banned women from drinking it for this reason! Although unproved, some think it contains and encourages the release of chemicals in the brain that reproduce the feeling of being in love.

How much is Gift Wrap (Personalisation)?
Gift wrap costs an extra €4.95 per order. This includes special packaging material and a card with a small hand written note which we prepare for you, in any of the following languages including translation, with Greek or English as a base language: Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian and French.

What is the shelf life of the chocolates?
Our chocolates and all of our products on sale in general have a shelf life several months after purchase. But who can resist the sweetest taste of Greece for more than a few minutes?

At any time when ordering online, although for phone orders please note that our lines are open Monday to Friday, from 10am until 4pm (GMT).

When will my order be delivered?
Depending on your delivery address and your country's postal services, your order might take up to 14 days for delivery.
Usually the approximate times in working days are:
- for the European Union: 7 days
- for the Rest of the World: 9 days

How much is delivery?
European Union: €3 flat charge (per order) plus €8 per kilo. For example: If an order weight is 0.5kg it will cost you €7.00 (€3 + €4). Similarly if an order weight is 1.5kg it will cost you €15.00 (€3 + €12) and so on. - Rest of the World: €3 flat charge (per order) plus €12 per kilo. For example: If an order weight is 0.5kg it will cost you €9.00 (€3 + €6). Similarly if an order weight is 1.5kg it will cost you €21.00 (€3 + €18) and so on.
Please note that if you plan to order large quantities for a special event and you have plenty of time to organise it, we can arrange for a more economical delivery method.
